Prison Break gets always mentioned as one of the shows that are responsible for the sudden popularily of brothercest in slash fandom, so I guess it is about a pair of brothe in prison, and they break out? I think one brother got himself intentionally convicted to help with the escape and previously he designed prisons? I think they are escaped in the current second season and there is a manhunt involving the FBI and some slash the FBI dude with some prisoner even though they didn't have screentime togetheer yet. I also remember some kerfuffle about a Latino actor being not acknowledged as such making the characters artificially whiter or something?

As for Xena... it is set in a fake ancient Greece I think, perhaps with fantasy or mythology monsters, I'm not sure, and Xena and Gabrielle are some kind of Amazon warrior princesses, with Gabrielle being Xena's sidekick. They were almost together in canon and all the fanfic is femslash, and the fandom developed kind of isolated so they call all the genres differently, like it's not AUs but Ubers in Xena fandom and the like, kind of like some HP fans have no idea that there was fandom before and outside of HP and they didn't invent all the stuff, except that Xena fandom is smaller, I guess.
