Heh. What can I say, it's an occupational hazard? But from the HP fandom's reputation for WIPs, aren't people there used to waiting for updates? And IIRC you talk from time to time about working on year two, so that encouraging, isn't it? I mean I'm still hoping against hope for updates on WIPs where authors said they have given up on the story for the near future. So I guess, you and your laptop are relatively save from me. I'm good with waiting for WIPs, I usually don't write many stalkery e-mails, and it'll take a few years of no updates before I give up hope, so you won't loose me as a reader with longer pauses, either. OTOH I rarely write encouraging, adoring feedback for every posted part of a WIP either (as some WIP authors seem to like) so there's some sort of balance between the pros/cons of my laissez-faire attitude towards WIPs and their authors, I guess.
