LJ spambots?

Is there a new spambot tactic where some account friends you, you check out the LJ, as you tend to do, and then see some stupid ad in an f-locked entry as the sole LJ content? Do you report these accounts somewhere, or doesn't it count because they spam you in their own locked entries you've been just tricked to look at?

I'd say it counts as spam; after all, you have been sent a message.

There were a few serial-adders a while back who created bots that friended people by the thousands. The they would defriend again when they weren't friended back within a few days. The goal was to amass a huge friends list, I guess. One of the bots would friend whenever someone posted a new entry. After the second or third notification I reported that as spam, and I heard that others did the same. It's in my inbox, I didn't ask for it, it's sent out en masse: it's spam.
