I'm unsure about their "format" sometimes, I mean, I don't do real analysis of the issues, and I have no experience with writing "regular" brief reviews of books, comics and such either, i.e. I have no clue what's supposed to go in there, what's the common structures for reviews are etc (I don't really notice these things when I read reviews). So I end up writing down more or less disjointed observations and thoughts I had while reading. That is also why so often I don't crosspost these brief comments in the gotham_gazette -- even though I wish that forum to be more active ands want to do my part to make it livelier -- they don't really feel like "reviews of comics and graphic novels featuring Batman" to me.
