And the one party an episode danger would be that they'd make it the biggest event of the year (casino, cotillion, ... anyone?) every single episode...

I vote for a no party whatsoever couple of eps, some people actually working and some repercussions to actions (like, is Seth gonna get grounded for the car?)...I'd at least make him work to pay for the paint job himself (in fact, as "cool" and unusual as his parents are portrayed, I'd expect them to instill a sense of the value of money into him...)
