Phew, that means I don't have to brave the basement one. Thanks for the info. It's seriously a mystery to me how that store survives at all. I mean, I realize that they don't target the "casual" comic buyer or whatever, but I'm about as much the specific fan customer as it gets (well, I'm not male, but otherwise) and I have problems using that store. I could have been a really good customer for them, as they are only 15 minutes away from me, whereas it takes me 45 minutes to get to my current one, however I rather commute for a while (even if it means I usually can only make it to get my comics on Friday, not Thursday when they are first available here). I still sometimes (try to) buy backissues and stuff there, usually when something isn't at my store, isn't available at any of the German internet comic stores I use, and the only other option would be a US comic store where I have to pay horrendous postage fees, import taxes, and have to wait four weeks for the comics to get here (it used to be only two weeks, but they say the air port security and stuff after 9-11 delays shipping). So I usually check whether they have the issue, but considering that they are the closest comic shop to me, and their prices are okay, I think it's rather pathetic for their business success, that they can't even attract me as a customer.
