I was looking to distract myself with something that takes concentration, because I'm worried so much about Linus but can't do anything to help him. So I decided to draw something, but felt too frazzled for anything complicated, so the only thing I could think of was making myself a new icon. And because sholio has been posting about Highlander a lot, and to comment I only had my ninja icon, the first thing I could think of was making myself a Highlander icon. Hence I give you Duncan!RatCreature.




In the pencils you can faintly see another sketch shine through, because I neglected to put another thicker sheet behind the page. That one shows my avatar taking a quickening. I'm not sure yet whether I'll ink and turn it into an icon too.

Awwwww! I love your Duncan!RatCreature! His expression is great -- I love that he's more quizzical than fierce. And I love the ponytail and katana.

Glad you like the icon! I wanted him to come across as alert or on guard or something like that, not angry or aggressive.
