Leo has been holding on for longer now than my vet thought once antibiotics stopped working, so it's not unexpected that a decline would come, but still. He was doing so well for so long (though I have been bringing him to the vet twice a week for injections to boost his own immune response for the last two months, which has been somewhat taxing for me too with the time and money needed for that), and of course you always hope they'll continue beating the odds.
I'm glad you like the icon. I always thought quickenings looked so silly in that series because so often they went on for quite some time longer than I appreciated.
