has anyone heard some update about that planned delicious transition?

I'm just wondering, because I recall that these Avos people said delicious would transition away from Yahoo in July, but I haven't yet heard or seen anything happening on the site beyond that you could opt into the new TOS (which I have done, also I'm doing backups of my bookmarks every few days now, just in case that lack of any news or signs of things happening is a bad omen). For example plenty of site links still go to yahoo, and nothing seems to have changed wrt accounts that haven't been updated in a while and not opted into anything. Have there been any announcements I've missed, like say a definite date for the switch?

I'm not finding that very reassuring. I mean, I still hope everything will work out well, but they could have gotten a bit more active and transparent by now. I even looked at the blog, and there is only a post about the FF plug-in. I'd have at least expected a "count down to relaunch" blog post by now or something.

One somewhat encouraging sign is that the firefox plugin for delicious which hasn't worked since 3.x has been updated to work for 5.x.

Yeah, I'd seen that. It was nice to see that they haven't just vanished (though personally I'm still using FF 3.6 for now). Still, I had expected maybe a transition date somewhere now that's July. Well, at least that gives the people over at deliciouslymad who are doing backups of the not opted-in fannish accounts some more time to rescue links.
