ratcreature: RatCreature is dejected: sigh (sigh)

Thanks. It is hard, also because I'm still a bit unsure whether I really have to euthanize now rather than in a week or two. He still eats a little after all when I give very tasty food, and usually after there are no possible treatments I then still wait until I'm sure the rat himself has given up and stops eating or is in obvious distress like not getting enough oxygen anymore. But the vet has been hinting for a while with Noah, and now said that pain for Noah was quite likely at this stage on top of the weight loss.

It's not that I want Noah to just suffer, but otoh I'm wary of euthanasia being done too soon for animals towards the end of their life, just because they can't talk and tell us that things are not bad enough to want to die right now, and they'd rather go with the equivalent of just hospice care instead, you know?
