Me too. I really worried that if it had needed surgical intervention to clean up the infected leg, he might have disturbed the resulting bigger wound even more, with further complications and antibiotics and his overall health and weight just deteriorating further. If he now only left his leg alone for bit, we might even get to a point where I don't have to go to the vet all the time, at least for a while.
