Captain America squee

I just watched Captain America 2 and it was awesome. Surprisingly the cinema was really empty, barely two dozen people it seemed, many rows were entirely empty. Maybe because it was the 17h show not the evening one, or because it was quite expensive due to the IMAX price (but that was where they showed the English version, so I was willing to pay more), but still I'd expected a bigger audience.

This made me love Steve even more, seeing him in the present day, with Natasha and dealing with Fury and Shield and the Hydra resurgence, and I thought Falcon was great.

I was really flailing that they ended the movie when they did, with Steve not yet reunited with Bucky. And that after credit scene with Bucky looking at himself in the Captain America exhibition mirroring Steve earlier was heartbreaking. I hope there will be lots of fanfic about Steve, Sam and Natasha finding Bucky and/or Bucky finding himself and then Steve.

I'm really excited to see it next week!! Well, and glad to know it ends where it does ahead of time. Slightly less painful that way. :P

It's really awesome. It gave me so many Steve feels. And I hope there will be lots of fanfic soon. Even though there already is some extrapolating from the comic, but I mean specifically for the movie setup.
