I've read one that did the name thing, but mentioned that only since the 19th century people married their soulmates more often as the notion of romantic love and marriage gained. Before that the nobility still married for alliances and poorer people for economic reasons, so loking for soulmates was thought irresponsible. I found that interesting but also puzzling how the author did consider worldbuilding changing marriage attitudes but not the more glaring troubles.
