Sam Vimes' Stealing Harry Universe is one of my favorites- it's very long, well written, lots of interesting characterizations, and eventually (in Laocoon's Children) puts Harry in Slytherin. It's Sirius/Remus scattered throughout. http://oojahs.snoo.org/stealingharry/stealingharry.htm
