Thor 2

That was a lot of fun.

Are we supposed to be able to infer how Loki pulled off that last twist and what the situation is, or just go with the events we see and it gets expanded later?

I mean, how does Loki come to impersonate Odin? Okay, so the stab wound didn't kill him obviously, presumably because Jotun are just more robust than Thor thinks when he leaves the body behind, or maybe some illusion trickery happened for that too, and then I gather he killed and impersonated that random Asgardian warrior who reported the events back to Odin to sneak back into Asgard, but then? And has he now usurped the throne or was this just impersonation for Thor specifically?

I enjoyed it too! I don't know whether Loki actually was stabbed or if that was an illusion, but your Jotun theory works too. But there's no indication of what happened to Odin - was Loki just hanging around to mess with Thor and real Odin was off somewhere else? Has there been a convenient Odinsleep? Did Loki murder or otherwise incapacitate Odin? No idea!

All will be revealed in Thor 3!

Probably. In like five years. But no, you didn't miss anything. They just don't do neat endings. It's all part of a larger ongoing story.

Completly off topic, but I see rattie stuff and think of you.
