Sometimes my argh/facepalm icon just didn't quite fit, so now I also have this *eyeroll* icon, showing a long suffering, exasperated RatCreature:


I also made a "Heh." icon with an Amused!RatCreature:

because so far I only had more exuberantly happy icons, like jubilantly happy, bouncing, squeeing and laughing, but not one for quieter amusement.

The expressions did not exactly turn out as I wanted them, but it was the best I could manage, and I think the emotions are somewhat recognizable and fit the text.

Thanks! That's good to hear, because, you see, when I want to get a specific expression in cartoon form, and need a couple of tries, after a while I can't quite tell anymore whether it's really improved over the last try. Kind of like when you read the same short text again and again to fiddle with it but don't notice the glaring typo anymore.

For more elaborate stuff I usually wait a day or so, not looking at a picture for a while before inking or drawing the next part to loose that blind spot, but with these small cartoons for my icons icon I tend to be too impatient for that process. *g*
