So today I had to bring Dustin to the vet for his second injection. The spider venom seems to be working, as the vet said the tumor is becoming more defined, and it should be okay to operate with either one or two more injections. At least my vet is very reasonable with the prices for such follow-up treatments, i.e. for the quick check and injection I paid only €3.63 today, compared to the initial diagnosis and first injection which was a bit over €21. I mean, obviously pricing isn't my first concern, but it still helps if getting treatment for your pet is somewhat affordable, you know?

Thanks. Unfortunately the visit on Friday showed that while the upper part of the tumor has become defined, the lower hasn't (yet) and it's too close to Dustin's penis to go ahead without that happening, so they can't operate and be sure to get all. So for now I am to monitor it closely and bring him for another injection mid-week.
