I just read a great Supernatural story: Muscle of Love, by researchgrrrl. It's gen, takes place while Sam and Dean are hunting some disgusting zombie-things, and I loved how it is funny while the monsters are still horrible and gross. Also Sam and Dean are great in this story. There's plenty of friendly snark, many great lines, and the story definitely caters to my slight weapons kink as well.

You're welcome. :) There is so much SPN fic being posted that I rely on recs a lot myself, and still probably miss a lot of good stuff...
