I think, for me what makes this truly appalling is that it goes beyond conveniently "forgetting" about something, or not paying attention, I mean, that's just leaving all the street names in his homor, which is kind of awful when you think about it too, but they put up a brand new bust up in his honor, and the text would have to try hard to get worse.
