this week's CSI
I'm not the biggest Sarah/Gil shipper though I like the pairing okay, but what is it with these "breakup by letter" things? Do normal people really do this outside of tv, just write a letter and then suddenly vanish? She could have at least talked to Grissom if she still loved him like she says.
And are we to assume she just dropped her job without giving any prior notice? It's not like she's some self-employed hippie living out of her Volkswagen bus or something, and can just drop everything to find herself without any trouble. Even if she's just taken some accumulated vacation time, that still has to be arranged, no? I assume as a city employee she'd have some sort of contract regulating this kind of thing, a house or apartment she owns or rents, and so on. And aside from all the practicalities, it's still a shitty thing to do to your boyfriend you still supposedly care about.
I'm just--- WTF? Why couldn't they have her talk with Catherine for some leave or something, then have a talk with Gil, and show her act like you'd expect from an adult with a regular job, a relationship and other such commitments?
