In my search for stories where the expedition is stranded in Pegasus, I noticed that there is apparently a whole subgenre where they form communes on Earth.

Well, sometimes with more scifi tech, but yeah, raising sheep and such on Scottish islands, or settling in Montana I think was another one, and iirc there was also something on a beach in California? And they do tend to have OT4 pairing configurations quite often...

How about High School AU? I'm sure there's an SGA highschool AU where John and Ronon are jocks and Rodney and Zelenka are nerds and Teyla's on student council with Elizabeth.

There are plenty of high school AUs , but I only like very few of them, because they are so often non-stargate stories, which I have a harder time liking. So that's a thematic list someone else will have to collect.

Yeah it had. That was the one with them raising sheep. The story wasn't bad, though I wasn't convinced that Great Britain would really just have given them one of their Scottish islands to declare independence on...
