Bones
As if the bizarre last season finale wasn't enough, Bones continues to throw random character and relationship twists at the audience that make no sense and are not properly set up. Now they make Angela and Hodgins break up? Because they suddenly realize they don't "trust" each other, just because the ex-husband's presence caused tension? What?
It's not quite as bad a twist as what they did to Zack, but it is not making up for it either. Also, the whole "Booth and Brennan do London" plot wasn't as amusing for me as I suspect it was supposed to be.

I second to the millionth power the whole WTF of Angela and Hodges. Two years of relationship down the drain in five minutes because of some jealousy issues? Bad, bad writing.

ETA: Some other series manage married couples without it being comedy, like Friday Night Lights for example, the Coach and his wife, they have relationship related plotlines while their marriage is stable, and without cheating or such, and it is still interesting to follow. So it is possible to do romance that isn't UST or marriage y/n? or breakup tension. I guess it does take a bit more effort to think about the relationship the couple has rather than just having stock plots available though.
