There are moments I really, really hate the "no meta" rule on P-L. Like when someone talks about "grammar Nazis" (or "canon Nazis" for that matter). Maybe I'm a bit sensitive, but I really think that the casual, thoughtless overuse of Nazi as an offensive term is not appropriate considering their totalitarian regime and its industrialized mass murder of millions of people. I don't get why someone thinks it's an apt comparison, even for people who may write hundreds of flame-like LoCs to each poster making a grammar mistake.
