...I've submitted my Yuletart piece. I had to ask for an extension, because even though I started painting my pencils one and a half weeks ago, I only finished today. And that despite working on it for several hours every day. And it doesn't even look like it took that much effort. I don't want to know how long this took in total, including the several pencil versions. But now it's done, even if it was four days late.

Also, posting there started today, so if you don't watch the comm already, you should definitely start checking it now.

Oh, thanks for the heads-up on yuletart! :) I actually hadn't realized that I wasn't watching the comm already, so I've gone and subscribed. And congrats on finishing!

Thankfully yuletart has lenient mods... (Though at least I tried my best not to make my tardiness worse for them and checked in before the deadline, begging for the extension with a credible assurance that my art submission would arrive by the time posting starts, so I guess I'm not the worst kind of participant who just vanishes without a word and without delivering anything either.)
