it wasn't even any darker...

There was a partial solar eclipse here this morning, but it was so completely overcast and started still early in the morning (well, not early by hours, but not that long after sunrise), that I didn't even notice it being any darker, even though the sun supposedly was covered 74% at the height of the eclipse in my location.

We missed a 74 minute Lunar eclipse here during the winter solstice due to over cast conditions as well...I can feel your pain. *hugs*

Well, I didn't buy special glasses or anything, and I'm not that invested in watching these things, but still. No clouds would have been nice.
