I miss Yuletart

There doesn't seem to be a yuletart this year, so I'm lacking a holiday exchange. I looked at fandomcalendar to see whether there are any other art or art and fic exchanges, that are for one of my fandoms or multifandom, and that are still open for sign-up, but there don't seem to be any. There are fewer for art than for fic to begin with and mid-October is late too. :(

Yes! )= It's really quite sad that yuletart couldn't run again this year, and that there's no direct multi-fandom equivalent I could find either. There's some mono-fandom exchanges or fests running but even those are often very pairing centric, when they aren't fic-only to start with...

I've signed up for a merlin holiday fest (merlin_holidays) a bit ago, but like many other fests that are closed to official sign-ups I think they' still be glad to have back-up artists if signing up as a pinch-hit could work for you. It's probably what I'll do, after checking if some individual comms aren't running their own mini-fests.

Yeah, I noticed that when browsed the fandomcalendar comm, but I totally missed the sign-up period, which was very short just 26-30 September, at which time I had more RL stuff to deal with than usual so I didn't notice the announcements, and I didn't watch out early on the comm or anything like that.
