I wanted to get my tickets for Black Panther, but apparently right now the cinema where I can watch it in the original version is only selling for opening day here, i.e. Thursday, not for the Friday when I have time to watch it. I asked why they weren't, because for Thor Ragnarök and Spider-Man they were selling post opening day tickets two weeks in advance (and for Star Wars even longer), and they said that it depends on how much the opening screenings are sought after.
So I guess people are less eager for Black Panther? Or they're like me and just can't on Thursdays.

I mean, after opening screenings are rarely completely sold out, like when I watched the recent Star Wars, which was also a day after opening, I got my tickets very early but there were still people getting tickets right then in the cinema (admittedly it was an afternoon screening not evening) but I want good seats for Black Panther. And I bet I am not alone in not being able to go on Thursday rather than Friday or the weekend.
I guess I'll check again early next week.

When I looked on the cinema's website afterwards the opening day screening was almost full too, but maybe other movies sold faster? IDK, that's the reason the guy gave. (I usually drop by when trying to get tickets because I find their website tedious, and reservations through it also cost a slight surcharge.)
