is that new CW Roswell series any good?

I quite liked the previous Roswell series from now twenty years ago, and I'm wondering whether I'd enjoy this one. Has anyone watched this?

(Also, yikes, how has it been twenty years?!)

I haven't yet but I'm really excited about it because they put back in some details I loved from the book series the show was based on! I watched the show first and then read the books, & they were Very Different but both good. Fixing all the whitewashing was a grand first step! And they're not teenagers!

If I manage to find a way to watch it (no TV, no Netflix) I will let you know.

I never read the books, but when I read the description of the new series I was intrigued by the more diverse cast and that they are adults too.

I completely missed that there's a new Roswell series in the works. Roswell was my first active fandom. I met my best friend through that fandom. This is exciting!

A fellow Roswell fan! Having been socialized in other media fandoms, I never fully settled into Roswell, because it seemed that a lot of new fans had it as first fandom and (re-)invented things just slightly left to what I was used to. Like the wacky pairing names... still fun though.
