Has anyone tried this StoryGraph website/app out? Is it actually more helpful with book recommendations than Goodreads? I've seen some mentions in my DW circle a while ago, but have been reluctant to sign up for new services, because more often than not it just increases the number of semi-defunct accounts I have, but don't use. But it seems to be sticking around, and as I mentioned last month, I've been having trouble to pick and choose from my TBR pile right now.

So has anyone tried this and found it useful to settle on what to read next rather than just tracking their reading?

Zooming by from a mutual friend's reading page -- I have tried StoryGraph! I've only used the desktop version, not the app.

It has lots of features that I really appreciate, such as decimal stars, a more cohesive set of qualitative ranking criteria, and, frankly, a better interface. The recommendations are indeed way better than on Goodreads. I've been introduced to a lot of new-to-me books (poetry especially, for some reason) through their algorithm, and I also find that those more nuanced and specific ratings help me out when I'm trying to decide if a book is worth my time, whether or not the algorithm found it for me or I found it myself.
