Snowflake Challenge #6
Challenge #6: In your own space, Create something.
I decided to doodle one of the AU scenarios that I've mentioned in challenge #3 as wishing they existed: An MCU Captain America/Calvin & Hobbes fusion. I decided Steve would have a normal teddy bear rather than a Bucky Bear, but in his fantasy he would be Captain America, and Bucky would be a bear, who is wearing Bucky's blue coat, rather than any Winter Soldier design.

I have often thought that Steve's mom must have been long suffering like Calvin's parents when he was small, if in slightly different ways. She'd worry about his fragile health and such, while he'd get up to all sorts of reckless shenanigans. And Steve would probably try to be good, not destructive but still cause chaos.

I love it, though. And your lettering on the box is perfect.

You really captured that here. It's super effective and creates all kinds of feelings in me about Steve and Bucky's relationship.

It's too bad I have zero talent for stories. This fusion would be so cute. Sarah the long suffering single mom with her creative and reckless child Steve being a constant force gir chaos, despite wanting to do good (generally). Bucky Bear the exasperated sidekick, who despite complaining about what he is getting dragged into, is still game to back up Steve's adventures. Though of course Bucky, just like Hobbes would also enjoy the tea parties with the neighbor girl, Peggy, and her more sensible adventure play...

I picked a bear because in A-Babies vs. X-Babies, Bucky is Steve's teddy bear, named Bucky Bear, so (with a stretch) there's a canon basis, and of course it's popular in fandom. And teddy bears are such a classic toy.
