more alien Clark musings...

As I was replying to some comments in my last entry, I had this sort of wacky idea of fiction with Clark as a plant-like lifeform, kind of like Zhaan is in Farscape? I mean his powers are fuelled by sunlight after all, so making Kryptonians having evolved from plants isn't such a big leap. And Farscape did several fun things with Zhaan's descent from plants (like the photogasms, the budding etc.). So as a question for those who've read more SV fanfic than I, is there any SV fanfic along those lines, with Clark as a plant?

None that I can think of... *grins* I had this theory a while back with some other people that due to being caught in a cornfield when the meteors hit, *Lex* is a plant-based lifeform. At the time we'd never seen him *eat* anything (well, except the apple in the pilot which he didn't seem to like.) And obviously the baldness is just a feature that allows him to collect more sun energy-- just like Zhaan! :D

I'm now actually warming to the idea of wacky alien Clark stories. Not that I'm planning to read or write anyway. That fandom broke my little black heart.
