Does anyone know what happened to the reversathon.com domain? I just tried to reread a mcshep_match story (for those interested, Wolf in Sheep's Clothing by ras_elased) and was cruelly thwarted by a link leading from the community into the ether of an expired domain. Did that site move? *hopeful* Or just vanish? :(

Yeah, I hate that part of maintaining a recs site too. I had it happen that I recced something and a month later the link wasn't any good. Actually a few times I marked something for inclusion and by the time of the recs update it already wasn't there anymore. Sometimes I think it's like trying to rec smoke signals.

Yes, I mean, ephemerality is all great as a theoretical model, but I'd prefer a bit more permance :D

I can honestly say that I don't care at all about ephemerality. Well, okay it would be cool if plastic waste were more ephemeral, rather than to just persist and accumulate forever, but not the fanfic stories I'd like to read. *clutches*

One really nice thing about mailing list distribution was that you didn't have to remember to save a copy, just to not delete what you liked.
