I don't often link to random stuff I've come across, but this dragon sand sculpture is very impressive. Here's a photo from another angle where you can see the baby dragon the big one is cradling.

Okay, this just goes to show how very small a world this is -- the Amazin' Walter is the father of a friend of a good friend of mine. *g* I just watched another competition that he and his daughter were in last year. He's amazing!

It really is awesome. Remembering the pitiful, crooked sandcastles I produced as a kid, I'm just astonished that people are able to make such detailed sculptures.

I have no idea how this works. I've been wondering about that too. Maybe they keep it wet somehow?
