Not a single goal? Here I had counted on you to put a damper the football craziness (and its related inconveniences for the non-football fans) here, and instead you let yourselves be beaten this badly, and now it's worse than ever. Just -- WTF, Argentina? You seemed so certain you'd win, too.

I guess, I ought to be less Scrooge-like and be happy that other people are having fun, but do they have to honk this much?

I must be the only person who hasn't heard these vuvuzelas. From what I've heard/read other people saying, that's a good thing, y/y?

From what I've been told the ones sold in Germany are already a noise reduced kind (incredible as that seems), because the regular vuvuzelas wouldn't have been allowed as too likely to cause serious ear damage. So yeah, I'd say not hearing them is a good thing. (Though where have you been hiding that you haven't heard them at least on tv?) Basically it's just really loud plastic trumpets, and the ones here seem about as loud as car horns if someone really tries to go all out, only more discordant.
