wtf, Goodreads?

Is there a way to get Goodreads to stop the stupid Facebook nagging? I already had to click away the dialog to add some book to my "timeline" (whatever that is) twice. Surely they can't mean to ask me every time I add or finish a book when I don't even have a FB account. It's not that I can't see how some people might want this integration, and one popup to ask me whether I wanted to set it up would have been fine, but surely you must be able to turn it off permanently somewhere? I couldn't find anything in the dialog or my settings.

Sorry, I have no idea. I gave up on Goodreads shortly after I signed up for it, and have yet to muster the energy/optimism to tackle LibraryThing in its place.

(I gave up GR because it was too heavily focused on the social networking angle, actually. Not the FB connection, but the constant "go find more users! See what they are doing, as if you care! Connect to people who are reading the book you like, as if that is relevant!" suggestions.)

I used librarything first and like it better, but the free account there limits the book numbers so severely that it I couldn't add anymore. And the service is not so essential or valuable to me that I want to spend money on it. I really just want to track what I've read in a year, nothing social, and for a while I just had a local file on my computer, but entering books there was less convenient and I always forgot. I ignore the social stuff on Goodreads, and you can turn most of the messages off, so it didn't come across as too obnoxious for me before it started prompting me for Facebook functions I can't even access.
