did DW do something to my default icon??

For some reason I can't see my default icon fully any more, but just see a top stripe of it. At first I thought it was a cache problem of my browser but neither reloading nor even looking at it with another device fixes the problem. Is this just a weird glitch for me or is it mangled for everyone and I should bring it to support? Do you see my whole icon with this post?

I only see the top (Chrome on Linux). When I download the image file, it looks fine when viewed on its own with a different program, but still looks broken when loaded to the browser on its own.

I don't know if it's related, but when it shows ok, everything outside the circle around the head is transparent; it's weird that chrome doesn't seem to be able to handle the image well even with transparency, but perhaps there's something to that. I used gimp to fill the transparent bits with white, and the chrome shows the file correctly this time, but of course it might be something during the gimp loading-and-saving process, not necessarily the transparency-filled bit. *handwaves, shrugs at this whole computers thing*

It is so weird that it suddenly causes problems like that. I mean, the transparency is not a new thing, and my Chrome browsers did not use to throw fits about it.

I've now tried opening the original png file I uploaded with Chrome on Linux and that works fine, but not opening the png file on the DW server, even though that also looks fine if I download it and look at it with another viewer. Something must have happened to the file on the DW server that trips up (some) Chrome browsers but not others?

What a weird thing. I'm sure there's a story behind this on DW's techops side, but I doubt we'll hear it.

For practical purposes I mostly want to know whether some one time thing happened to the file that made it unreadable to Chrome but not other browsers, but I could fix by reuploading the icon, or whether there is some ongoing or recurring issue that does something to png icons or such.
