it's almost November?
Yikes, I haven't updated in over two weeks. Where did October go??
Well, I did watch some tv, among other things also Heroes, but I have a real problem keeping track of things. That is, I don't really follow the plot at all anymore with all the timelines and the heroes having alternate villain versions and such. Maybe it's me, or maybe it makes less sense than usual, but it seems things would be much better if all the well intentioned but misguided mutants would just stop trying to "save the world".
And I don't understand Peter's power. I thought he just acquired the powers of others as soon as he came in contact with them, so I didn't understand why mimicking Sylar's would be so different for him. Not to mention that I don't get why he needs it in the first place. He can already mimick powers without understanding their mechanics like Sylar does. I got that he hoped Sylar's understanding would help him to figure out what to fix to make the timelines right or something like that, but considering that redeemed!Sylar currently wants to help, wouldn't he tell someone if he could grasp this better? I don't get why Peter let his father steal his powers either. Shouldn't he have seen this or read it in his mind? Somehow he can always just use whatever is convenient for the plot or something.
It's all horribly convoluted. Though maybe I'm just not watching attentively enough. And that Mohinder now eats people is just wrong.
Unrelated to anything: I was woken up this morning shortly after seven by some awful mixture people rearranging furniture and power tool noises (the walls in my place transmit sound really well) and they were *still* at it with the noise until around ten in the evening. Talking really loudly too. WTF is wrong with people? Can't they limit this to reasonable hours? Like start after eight and stop at night? Well, I guess technically they did with stopping at ten, but still! I hope whoever is moving in or renovates or whatever is causing this racket is done with it soon. </whine>
