weirdest cover image I've seen today...

It's the cover of the current issue of the Italian politics magazine Internazionale covering the US election. Though I guess Obama/McCain slashers (and if there are any? kind of disturbing btw) would get a kick out of this. I don't actually speak Italian, so I have no idea why they have a cover illustration with an Obama/McCain kiss, I just saw this on an image blog.

I don't speak Italian either, but the sub-head says “Black and White!” (actually, White and Black, which for some reason we never say in English. Huh.) and plowing through the table of contents with my Spanish, I have to say, I could not find any explanation. ("One year ago, Barack Obama was an unknown, and now he's the frontrunner! Woweee!" As you can see, my Spanish did not allow me to 'translate', precisely. More a guess.)

I know some French and Spanish and had Latin in school too, so I get the gist of Italian texts if it isn't too complicated, but I admit that I didn't bother trying to make sense of this after I was mildly traumatized by their cover. I just thought it weird enough to be fun to link with or without context.
