Just how long does a total solar eclipse last in the Heroes universe?? I mean, they only last a couple of minutes, don't they? Also, how is this thing total everywhere?
Maybe in their universe a monster swallows the sun or somthing.

Yep. I found this: "Totality can never last more than 7 min 31 s, and is usually much shorter: during each millennium there are typically fewer than 10 total solar eclipses exceeding 7 minutes." (Source is Wikipedia. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_eclipse))
It can't be total everywhere. It's impossible. Heroes fails at science!
Well, I think if you want your audience to suspend disbelief in one area, it is even more important to make the other things consistent and real, otherwise it's just a mess. You can't argue that just because they have a superpowers premise it was "anything goes".
I don't mind the technobabble science failures related to the powers, but this is just idiotic. And such a common knowledge thing too. I mean, everybody who has seen a partial or total eclips knows they don't last long.

LIES. Superpowers are real! You can remove one part of the brain to stop feeling pain! Knowing the future can't change it! HEISENBERG WAS A LIAR.
Ahem.
