Sometimes I hate it a lot that Tumblr has no comment options (in most cases). So often I want to react briefly to some fun post or another, but I just don't do the reblog thing with my own Tumblr -- not that you can really follow and enjoy reactions easily then either. Occasionally the propensity of fandom to use things in ways they weren't meant to be used (and have no features for) has annoying downsides.

What I find infuriating is that in certain arcane circumstances you get this "reply" button, which at least allows short comments, but enabling it is hidden in the settings (I only recently found the ticky to turn it on in mine) and it only allows comments if you follow someone for more than two weeks, so you can't leave a comment when you just see something cool while browsing even if the other has it enabled.
