drawing, well, the entry is more me whining...

Sometimes I wish I hadn't given away those Ken and Barbie dolls I owned as a kid. Though I'm not quite sure whether their mobility range would have been sufficient. I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with a sketch and I can't (btw, the motif isn't indecent, for all of you with a vivid imagination, I don't draw sex scenes *grin*). The pose of just one person I can usually figure out on paper, and of course I can pose myself in front of a mirror to see what something would look like, or photograph myself, etc. But two people? This sucks. It looks still odd and I'm at my fourth try to realize the pose I see in my head.

BTW, the drawing that is very much not progressing at the moment might turn into a Nightwing/Daredevil illustration for which I had an idea yesterday. A while ago kerithwyn mentioned that she'd like to see Daredevil/Nightwing when I asked about Daredevil/Spider-Man fanfic, and obviously the pairing somehow stuck in my subconscious or something, because now I have this image in my head.

That's a serious drawback to living alone. If I had roommates I could draft them to pose for me. Alternatively I need better 3D-visualization abilities. Or action figures with a lot of mobility. *grumble*
