Wheelchairs are somehow more complicated than hookahs, so the crack icon proved to be easier. I rather like how the stoned expression turned out, though it's not quite as nice in the small 100x100 version. If you like you can take a look at the pencils or the finished version in a slightly larger format. BTW that I now apparently have a Stoned!RatCreature icon is rather ironic, since I have never gotten high in RL and really dislike the smell of cannabis intensely (not just the smoke, strange as it is if someone merely rolls a joint next to me I'm already bothered by the smell, which is sometimes annoying in social settings, and also surprisingly a rather frequent problem for me on the bus of all places). As usual my cartoon-self is having more fun... Well, I guess I have to make do with the comic crack. *g*

Some recent posts brought the really useful
dcfic_index to my attention again, and I found myself wondering whether there are similar projects to collect links to the comic fanart posted on LJ? A while ago when I was looking for a piece of comic fanart I'd seen, I noticed that
comics_fanart for example doesn't use memories or tags, which makes it much harder to find older fanart again compared to, say, find posted scans in
scans_daily, which is fabulously organized btw (and I'm in awe that anyone can keep up with organizing it, considering that the really high post frequency is one reason I dropped the community from my default view, since at one point half of each flist view seemed to be
scans_daily posts). I haven't seen any art indexes mentioned, though I guess I could just be unaware of it. Or maybe this is similar to fanart being even less consistently archived than fanfic and that there are fewer archives for art? If something like this doesn't already exist, do others think it would be useful to have a dcart_index comm? Not that I'm volunteering per se, I'm naturally lazy after all, but I find myself missing something more organized for finding fanart, and well, I could imagine to do at least part of the work and maintenance for such a project (though it would be much cooler if someone else had already done the work and I could just utilize *g*).
