thoughts on SG-1 10x02...

weird, but rather cool dream...

To deal with the unbearable afternoon heat (I'm just not made to cope with temperatures well over 30°C) I was napping. And I dreamed that if you made a certain kind of connection via your computer with an access point in another place, a strange rope would appear (looking rather like an expandable dog leash, come to think of it) and you could use that to pull yourself there physically. It had distance limitations, like say to get to Sweden I'd have to make a connection to Denmark first and then to Sweden, and the travel wasn't instantaneous, just rather fast, though it felt like being pulled on a barge over water (don't ask, I know it doesn't make much sense), but somehow this was really neat.
