You probably have already read this, because everyone and their cat has recced this one, but it is a great apocafic. A plague wipes out most of humanity, and I like this story for showing how surviving the apocalypse damaged them.
The way we look to a distant constellation, by Sarah T. Gen, though with some Sheppard/Wraith non-con. (ca. 3,200 words)
This story takes an alternate route for Vegas!John's encounter with the Wraith.
when I came I was a stranger (part 2), by Sarah T. Het, John Sheppard/Teyla Emmagan. (ca. 12,000 words)
Another Vegas AU (what can I say, I like them a lot), this one closer to canon events in that it is an episode tag. I enjoyed Vegas!John's POV here.
