Your main fandom of the year?
It was Star Trek Reboot for reading. This year I bookmarked about 350 Star Trek Reboot fanworks (mostly fic but some art too), compared to 110 SGA, about 80 Merlin and 30 SPN. (and of course a bunch of other fandoms too)

Your favorite film watched this year?
Er. I don't think I watched anything in a movie theater this year.

Your favorite book read this year?
Um. I was going to say The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms by N.K. Jemisin, which I enjoyed a lot while reading, but the world building and characters didn't really stick in my mind in detail, now that I think of it, so maybe Fires of the Faithful by Naomi Kritzer?

Your favorite album or song to listen to this year?
I'm actually not in the habit of listening to music. I can't concentrate well when music is on, especially I can't read or write with it, so I usually don't.

Your favorite TV show of the year?
Merlin was great this season.

Your favorite DW community of the year?
Is it cheating if I pick the one I started this year, [community profile] fanart_recs? I'm strongly biased in its favor. ;)

Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Um. I actually don't think I picked up any new fandoms this year. I mean, I read Sherlock every now and then, but I'm not that into it. Sanctuary is a possibility, if my recent interest sticks, but it's too early to tell, and since it seems to be a smallish fandom, I doubt it'll become a main interest for me, because I'm a lemming and like large fandoms to sustain my interest.

Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
Probably how Fanlore has made me so unhappy that I had to quit editing the wiki, which I did a lot before. For disappointments with source, well, I'm not too thrilled with the current seasons of several shows, but the Daredevil Shadowland event deserves a mention, because DD has been one of the few comics I still follow, and while I haven't had too high an anticipation of this kind of comic crossover event to begin with, it started decently, and then disappointed.

Your TV boyfriend of the year?
What does that even mean? A character I really like? Someone whom I fantasize having a relationship with? In the latter case none, in the former, well, even though I read less SGA, I would still pick John Sheppard. Though I'm not sure he counts for this year specifically.

Your TV girlfriend of the year?
Again, I don't think I fell in love with any characters this year specifically. Maybe Gwen from Merlin counts? Though we'd be rather ill matched if we actually met, I think. So for that Garcia from Criminal Minds would work better.

Your biggest squee moment of the year?
Uh. My memory is crap. Possibly either the Merlin season opening or the season finale.

The most missed of your old fandoms?
Hm. I miss reading more comics. WRT the nostalgia when it comes to fandom immersion I probably still miss The Sentinel most.

The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?
Considering that I just tried Sanctuary, I'm not sure I need yet another. I'm kind of waffling on catching up on Fringe, because I watched the pilot and first ep or so, and then made up my mind, and didn't change it when masses of people assured everyone that the series improves massively. However, there is a lot of squee about it.

Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?
Not sure. I'm looking forward to the next Dresden Files book, and I'm missing Merlin already, so I look forward to it coming back, but that will be a while yet.
