Like, for example right now I'm pondering whether I ought to heed my physician's advice to take up some endurance exercise I would "enjoy" or stick with the baser instincts of my inner Sloth!RatCreature.

SGA story rec

This isn't an AU so it won't fit on my rec page, but I just finished reading this awesome, long SGA story by samdonne, Your Cowboy Days Are Over. It's gen (there's some Sheppard/OFC sex, but no romance plot), Sheppard-centric, has a great plot, vivid world building, and once I started I couldn't put it down, which was bad for my productiveness (seeing how it's 59,100 words long), but very enjoyable. So if you like gen SGA at all you should check it out.
