embracing my inner lemming

So like many others I'm now name squatting over at Vox, and took a look at their interface. The way you can insert book covers and photos is pretty neat, but I found the interface not that easy, for example I couldn't figure out in their editor where I would click to cut a longer entry, and that function has to be somewhere. At least I've never tried a blog system that couldn't cut entries, and besides LJ I have used Greymatter, Moveable Type, and Wordpress at one time or another, so I can't believe Vox wouldn't allow this. Okay, so it is still in beta, but it doesn't make sense to have all the bells and whistles, like including video in posts, yet not the most basic blog stuff.

Also I don't see import or export functions anywhere, so how are you supposed to transfer posts you made elsewhere or even just merely backup your content? Granted when I tried importing and exporting posts between other blogs it rarely went smoothly (i.e. keeping all formatting and information and such intact), but at least those system try to provide that function.

However if anyone else is curious and still needs an invite, I now have two to spare, which I'll give to the first two people who comment with an email address.
