While I'm happy that Dustin is currently feeling well enough to come outside for a bit and promptly get into scuffles, I did not miss having a squeaking, kicking two-rat-furball roll over my laptop. See, when they fight they like to do that on my bed (which is where I'm currently sitting -- unergonomically but comfy -- with my laptop reading some fanfic). I suspect they prefer the bed for that to the floor for much the same reasons as I do, i.e. it is comfy and soft, and so it doesn't hurt when they roll around in a mad frenzy as they just slam into cushions (well, except for me and my laptop). Not that I'm not thankful that at least for the most part they avoid fighting and posturing inside the cage, as it spares me having to worry about Ben hassling Dustin when he's feeling really crappy, but still. Squeaking rat-furball. Rolling over my keyboard.
