some images are just disturbing...

So I'm still reading this Wizard guide to heroic anatomy I mentioned earlier, and there's this section by Kevin Maguire about facial expressions. and he illustrates the point that even with the rest of the face unchanged the eyes make a huge difference to the expression. Nothing unusual so far. However he illustrates that with an example of a smiling Wolverine, or rather three smiling Wolverines with different eyes, and well...

I find the one on the right particularly disturbing.

Sometimes my argh/facepalm icon just didn't quite fit, so now I also have this *eyeroll* icon, showing a long suffering, exasperated RatCreature:


I also made a "Heh." icon with an Amused!RatCreature:

because so far I only had more exuberantly happy icons, like jubilantly happy, bouncing, squeeing and laughing, but not one for quieter amusement.

The expressions did not exactly turn out as I wanted them, but it was the best I could manage, and I think the emotions are somewhat recognizable and fit the text.
